Castle Cover, raising money for charity in 2013

Castle Cover has today announced that it will be supporting The Amelia-Grace Rainbow Fund and Alzheimer's Research UK as part of its employee-voted 2013 charity programme.

A variety of exciting activities have been planned for 2013 ranging from adrenaline seeking skydiving, The Three Peaks Challenge and a London to Brighton Bike Challenge, to music events, raffles and competitive cake sales.

All funds raised will go towards helping The Amelia-Grace Rainbow Fund provide financial assistance to Dorset-based children and their families who are suffering from serious, chronic, life-limited and terminal illness, as well as supporting Alzheimer's Research UK fund word-class, pioneering scientists at leading universities to find preventions, treatments and a cure for dementia.

Chantel Cooper, Founding Trustee at The Amelia-Grace Rainbow Fund said: "The Amelia-Grace Rainbow Fund is delighted to have been chosen by employees as one of their charities for 2013. We provide non-means tested grants to such a wide range of children and as such, demand for our services is increasing. We are therefore very excited to be working with Castle Cover's colleagues in supporting our cause, especially as we're a local charity and we hope to bring them some fantastic fundraising events over the coming year."

Steve Hudd, Head of Corporate Partnerships at Alzheimer's Research UK said: "We are hugely grateful to Castle Cover for choosing Alzheimer's Research UK as one of their charities of the year. It's wonderful to know employees are pulling together to help us in the fight against Alzheimer's and other diseases that cause dementia. Every £20 raised is enough to fund another hour of pioneering research, taking us ever closer to improved diagnosis, new treatments and preventions for dementia.
