Castle Cover ladies Race For Life

Over 50s insurance specialists, Castle Cover, made their debut appearance in what was a rather wet and windy Cancer Research UK's Race for Life in Bournemouth recently.
An 11-strong team of ladies from the newly launched company braved the persistent rain to take part in the 5km race along the promenade to and from Bournemouth Pier.
Castle Cover, home and motor insurance specialists for the over 50s, supported the team by donating the entry fee for all participants and altogether the team raised in excess of £1000, which will go towards funding the crucial work of Cancer Research UK.
Team organiser and Castle Cover PR Manager, Hayley Baverstock, said "Despite the wind and rain, our team spirit was certainly not dampened as the girls were determined to take part for such a worthwhile cause. Each and every one of us agreed that it was a great event to be part of and we're looking forward to next year!".
Race for Life has become the UK's biggest women-only fundraising event and this year alone, they hope to bring an amazing 800,000 women together to raise £60 million for Cancer Research UK.
