Castle Cover celebrate first year in business

Over fifties insurance specialists Castle Cover recently celebrated their first year anniversary by entertaining key partners and suppliers on a boat trip around Poole Harbour and Sandbanks.
Launched last July as specialist providers of home and motor insurance for the fifty plus market, the Poole-based company has enjoyed rapid success in its first year and now employs over 160 staff.
Over seventy key partners, who have been instrumental in the launch and first year operations of Castle Cover, learnt more about the company and its plans for the future before heading out onto the Poole waters. The evening was rounded off with a spectacular fireworks display - part of Poole Tourism's Summer Breeze on the Quay event.
Managing Director, Andrew Marchington, remarked, "Our first year in business has gone by rapidly and, I'm pleased to say very successfully. As a new business, we're extremely grateful for the support of many local and national companies that have helped us get off the ground, and tonight is our way of saying thank you."
Castle Cover provide home and motor insurance to the rapidly growing over fifties market. Their panel of insurers include household names such as AXA, Royal & SunAlliance and AIG. They will become a major employer in the Poole area, creating over 400 jobs within their first four years.
