Castle Cover on track with new sponsorship deal

Castle Cover today entered the fast lane by announcing a deal to become main
team sponsors of the Poole Speedway team.
The team will now be known as the Poole Castle Cover Pirates and are one
of the most successful teams in Elite League Speedway having clinched many
titles over the past few years.
Castle Cover, specialists in the home and motor insurance market for the
growing 50 plus market, are also based in Poole and have plans to become
one of the leading employers in the region.
Castle Cover Managing Director, Andrew Marchington, said of the new deal “Poole
Speedway offers us the opportunity to support our local community, whilst
reaching a national audience through such a successful team. Our future plans
for the business will be further enhanced by this relationship.”
Poole Speedway Co-Promoter Matt Ford added “I am delighted and excited
to welcome Castle Cover on board as our principal main team sponsors throughout
2007 and 2008. They are a locally based insurance company who are looking
to increase their clientele and who believe that Poole Speedway can help
them to achieve their goals.”
Launched in July 2006 as the third major brand within the fifty plus insurance
market, Castle Cover are neither tied to one supplier nor owned by an Insurer
and plan to hit Gross Written Premium levels of over £100m and sign
up over half a million customers within a five-year period. Over 500
jobs will be created within that period, which will make them one of the
region’s major employers.
